The singer, and only original member is Evan Dando. He has an amazing voice and is an excellent guitar player.

Back in the old days, the bass player was Nic Dalton. He and his friends inspired a lot of It's A Shame About Ray and he plays bass on Come On Feel The Lemonheads.

The drummer back then was Dave Ryan. He later went on to join Boston band Fuzzy

The Australian Story

While The Lemonheads were on tour in Australia in 1991, Nic Dalton was playing with the Hummingbirds. He was filling in on bass for Robyn St. Clair who had just had a child and could not tour. The Hummingbirds were supporting the Lemonheads on their tour and at this time the Lemonheads were going through some problems, however this all changed after Evan met Nic Dalton and Tom Morgan.
In August 1991, the Lemonheads went on tour to the UK. When they returned they were without a bass player. Evan came to Australia for a while, and while he was here asked Nic to join the band.
Nic Dalton joined the Lemonheads on July 1st 1992. He toured alot with them and recorded Godstar's Sleeper where ever they went. Touring wasn't really what Nic wanted and he had originally only joined for 6 months, but those 6 months never seemed to end. Eventually he quit and returned to Australia to concentrate on his other projects. He was happy to return to the normal routine of daily life.
